Best meal in ages. Food outstanding. Service helpful and efficient. Dining room very pleasant. Buzzy without being raucous. 3 course meal for 2 with cocktails and wine &pound;150.

We had the set menu  offer for The Fork . We had the shop and antipasto for the starter. Chicken Milanese and linguine with beef. Pannecotta for desert. The food was delicious. Portions were large.  Went at 3pm, and it was quiet. Service was good, We have bn there several times now as the offer on The Fork is very good indeed.

Amazing LunchI had lunch outside on Sunday, wonderful freshly prepared food, friendly waitress and good covid measures. I am looking forward to going back next week

My partner and I both loved the food at Roxie; the rump steaks were delicious, as were all of the sides (especially the creamed spinach: so tasty) but I found the atmosphere and speed of service to be poor. Tables were too close together, it was incredibly loud and the food and drink arrived far too close together: bread and starters, then five minutes later the steaks were ready then five minutes later our drinks arrived. Not good!

Was in london with friends and we found by chance this fantastic pub, great food served by very friendly staff ( think it was Dan) he made us extremely welcome.Allowed us to try a beer before buying and was very knowledgeable about the beers available.Will definitely be back and will recommend.

My wife and I have been going here for a few years now, and it really is one of the nicest restaurants we&#39;ve ever been to anywhere. The menu changes throughout the year, the food is at least on a par with anything we have eaten anywhere, the service attentive without being obsequious, and bearing in mind its location, not that expensive, (although in fairness, we tend to go &#39;middle of the road&#39; price wise on the wine). We have eaten there just the two of us, as a group of six, I have taken clients there, and we&#39;ve seen numerous big birthday party/special occasion groups there; they cater for everyone just as seemlessly. The kitchen is open to the restaurant. Call me old fashioned, but any restaurant who does that have nothing to hide on the cleanliness front. An absolute winner!!

This was my third visit to this restaurant which goes some way to demonstrating how much I think of it. It is situated slightly off the beaten track and would not normally expect a good footfall, yet there are always a good number of tables used at each visit by locals which also demonstrates its popularity. An early evening menu exists with 2 or 3 courses at around &pound;19 or &pound;24. This menu has a good selection. Alternatively there is an a la carte menu. All of the selections I have had have been of excellent quality. Last night our meal for two was taken from the three course menu and mine from the a la carte menu. We shared a nice bottle of Chablis and coffee to end. Including service charge &pound;98 Great innovative menu. Very nice surroundings with comfortable chairs. The staff are first class, friendly and knowledgeable. Could it be a fourth visit....? Recommended and better than a lot of London restaurants.

Several years since we were last here. Went for Sunday lunch. Good value &pound;26.50 for 3 courses. My chicken liver pate starter was nice, but the breaded salmon main course was too filling. Quite nice chocolate pudding to finish. Rather expensive (&pound;34) sauvignon blanc. My feeling was that the restaurant lacked diversity - not a single afro or Asian customer . Several large family reunion groups which made for noisy area at back of restaurant. We were lucky to get there early and secure a table by the window which was much more peaceful. After several visits it is obvious that the quality is a bit &quot;hit &amp; miss&quot;. The set-lunch menu is good value for Wimbledon Village, however the portions are small. The room is noisy and not conducive to quiet conversation.
